Trash to treasure: man creates dog kennels with discarded TV sets

Abhijit Dowarah, a 32 year old man in Assam's Sivasagar is converting old, discarded TV sets into kennels for street dogs.

Called Baator Ghor, the tiny shelters have been put around, along with a sack on the floor, so street dogs can stay warm in the winter.

Speaking to New Indian Express Dowarah stated that he has created over 50 utility items, all from scrap and is locally known as an innovator.
