The Tokyo Olympics in 2021 will start on 23rd July and will end on 8th August. The new dates for the Olympics were confirmed on Monday as the athletes across the world can now start preparing for the quadrennial games. The Olympics were originally scheduled for July this year but were forced to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The cost of hosting the games a year later is expected to be around $6 billion and will take the cost of these games to almost $20 billion.
