A tiny washing machine meant to clean Apple AirPods and other TWS earbuds has successfully been crowdfunded on kickstarter.
The Cardlax EarBuds Washer was posted on Kickstarter on April 6, and reached its target of £3,639 the very next day. The project has now been funded to nearly £30,000, or over ₹30 lakh, with 56 days to go until the campaign closes.
The EBW features a central rotating cylindrical sponge, much like a top-loading washing machine, that rolls a user's earbuds against the sponge-covered inner walls of the device.
Apple officially only advises users to clean their AirPods with a soft and dry cloth.
