TikTok has chosen a bidder for its US, Australian and New Zealand businesses and might announce the deal later on Tuesday, a CNBC report has said.
TikTok has been in talks with various companies in the hope to sell its US operations along with businesses in a few other countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada etc before the September 20 deadline given by the Trump administration closes in.
The top contenders for the deal are Microsoft in partnership with Walmart and Oracle and the sale price of the deal is expected to be anywhere between $20 billion to $30 billion, as per reports.
