This is what the future of airplane food could be like

A Seattle-based design firm, TEAGUE has re-imagined how airplane food could change in the future. Automat-style ordering could replace trolley service. Passengers may be able to order food using an app and collect it from a self-service station onboard. Airlines could also install robotic galleys for food delivery. The firm believes that these steps would help minimise food wastage and reduce trash generated by packaging and onboard weight.
