If you don't love the idea of mind-reading, this outfit may not be for you! A Dutch techno-fashion designer has developed a dress that moves and changes colour in accordance to your brainwaves.

Called the Pangolin dress, this 3-D printed robotic creation by Anouk Wipprecht is connected to the wearer's electroencephalography sensors. The sensors resemble the scales of a pangolin, hence the name.

When the wearer is stressed, the dress flickers its lights, making the dress' animatronic wings flap faster. In contrast, when the wearer is calm, the dress glows with a soft purple light.

In a sense, the sci-fi-like dress takes on a different life with each wearer. Wipprecht is showcasing the Pangolin dress at the annual Ars Electronica festival for arts, technology and society in Austria.
