Israeli company Noveto Systems is planning to launch a new desktop device that uses a futuristic ‘sound beaming’ technology to help you listen to any sound without the need for headphones.
The company told The Associated Press that the SoundBeamer 1.0 can play audio in stereo or spatial 3-D mode that creates 360 degree sound around the listener. It can follow a listener around when they move their head and provide complete noise cancellation.
While the concept of sound beaming is not new, Noveto was the first to launch the technology. The company will reportedly launch a smaller version of the device by the end of next year.
