The wilderness of the Earth is at the brink of disappearance

Only five countries contain 70 percent of the Earth's remaining wilderness areas according to a study by the University of Queensland and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), Human activities like farming, mining and rise in pollution have led the areas to the brink of disappearance. Among the 5 countries, The desert region of Australia, Boreal forest of Canada are important spaces for reversing effects of climate change. The researchers have urged these countries to protect the wild.
