Queen Elizabeth II is known to be quite a foodie but there is one ingredient that she absolutely detests as revealed by Chef John Higgins to the National Post in a old article. He was formerly the chef at the Buckingham Palace and he states that garlic has been banned from the estate. The authenticity of the food cooked in the Palace is determined by whether garlic was used in a dish or not.
