The end of PUBG? PUBG 2 being worked on for 2022 release: reports

A now-deleted tweet from PUBG dataminer PlayerIGN states that a sequel to PUBG is currently under development.

The sequel, which is for the PC and Console version of PUBG and not the mobile version, will reportedly use the latest Unreal Engine 5.

Job listings from Krafton Amsterdam studio, which invited applicants to work on the new game, were also posted. The user also clarified that this game is different from PUBG: New State, which is a mobile game set in 2051.
