Trivandum MP Shashi Tharoor has threatened to take legal action against an English learning app for using his name and picture in its promotion.

Tharoor, in a tweet, said that he does not endorse any such learning applications and the app was misleading students. The app claims that people could speak like Tharoor after installing it.

Many on Twitter have reacted by pointing out that images of politicians holding offices can not be used for commercial purposes.
