Popular instant messaging service Telegram is adding the long-awaited video calling feature via its desktop and mobile apps. The company said that the video call feature is being made available in an alpha state across all the apps, but it can be used by anyone with the latest version of Telegram installed. All video calls in Telegram are end-to-end encrypted and come with picture-in-picture (PiP) features that allows users to minimise the call to continue using the rest of the app.
