The use of AI Chatbots like ChatGPT has always been a topic of debate, with proponents praising its benefits and sceptics expressing concerns about potential misuse. Interestingly, Apple itself appears to be divided on the matter. While Apple employees are prohibited from using ChatGPT to protect the company's data, Apple's CEO Tim Cook personally utilises the technology. In an interview with Good Morning America, Cook expressed his enthusiasm for ChatGPT and highlighted its unique applications. He acknowledged the importance of careful consideration, addressing issues such as bias, misinformation, and the necessity of regulation. Cook emphasised the need for establishing regulations and implementing safeguards in the field of AI. He recognised the challenges faced by companies in keeping up with the rapid advancements in AI technology. According to Cook, it is the responsibility of companies to make ethical decisions and engage in self-regulation.
