WhatsApp is making a beta version of its updated Mac app, featuring native Apple silicon support to all users. The beta was previously only available to a select group of testers through WhatsApp TestFlight, but is now being expanded for testing before an official release.

The app can be downloaded from the WhatsApp website. Keep in mind that since this is a beta, some features may not work as intended. This is the first time a native version of the app has been made available for Apple silicon Macs, which will run faster and use less resources on devices with the M1 and M2 series of chips.Interestingly, the beta app has changed the logo to a Golden-Yellow colour.
