Samsung has launched its new budget-oriented Galaxy A05 smartphone in India.
The Galaxy A05 is priced at ₹12,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and ₹9,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant.
It will be available across Samsung exclusive and retail stores, Samsung.com, and other online portals.
Consumers can also take advantage of special offers, including No Cost EMI options using Samsung Finance+ and through EMI options with banks ₹875 per month.
Additionally, consumers can get a limited time period cashback worth ₹1,000 using SBI credit cards.
The smartphone features the popular Galaxy Signature design and a sturdy frame with a linear-patterned backside, delivering a refined build and finish. It will be available in colours: Light Green, Silver, and Black.
The Galaxy A05 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ display and a powerful 5000mAh battery. The device also supports up to 25W fast charging, however, a power adapter is not supplied in the retail box.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which means that it is a 4G-only smartphone since the Helio series of processors do not support 5G.
The Galaxy A05 comes in two storage variants, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. It also features the RAM Plus feature, which intelligently analyses usage patterns and provides extra virtual RAM of up to 6GB.
The Galaxy A05 offers a dual-camera setup with a 50MP wide-angle camera that’s accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The 8MP front camera ensures sharp and clear selfies.
Samsung ensures that the Galaxy A05 stays future-ready with 4 years of security updates and 2 generations of OS upgrades.
