The new Oppo A78 5G has been launched in India and it is priced at ₹18,999.
It comes in a single 8GB + 128GB storage configuration. It will be available in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue colour variants and will be available beginning January 18 through Oppo's e-store, Amazon, and other major retail retailers.
Sale incentives for the Oppo A78 5G include a flat 10% discount (₹1,300) on Amazon orders made using SBI credit cards. The no-cost EMI plans begin at ₹3,167.
The Oppo A78 5G dual SIM (Nano) smartphone runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13 and features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 269ppi pixel density, and an 89.8 screen-to-body ratio.
It is equipped with a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The Oppo A78 5G boasts a dual rear camera unit on the back, which includes a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens.
It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC rapid charging capabilities. The function claims to charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in 60 minutes.
