The Nothing Phone 2a is launching in India and globally on March 5. It's expected to be the most affordable phone from the company yet. Carl Pei, the company's founder, hinted that it might be cheaper than the previous Nothing Phone 1 model. Pei also showed his commitment to the Indian market by changing his name on X (formerly Twitter) to "Carl Bhai" and announcing that the phone will be made in India.

The Nothing Phone 2a price is rumoured to be around €349 (about ₹30,000) for the 8GB RAM/128GB version and €399 (about ₹35,000) for the 12GB RAM/256GB version. This makes it a strong competitor against other brands in the same price range.

Based on leaks and rumours, the Nothing Phone 2a is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, known for its performance and efficiency. This processor choice suggests that the phone will offer a strong balance between power and battery life.

The device is rumoured to have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant viewing experience.

In terms of camera capabilities, it is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, along with a 32MP front-facing camera. 

These specifications suggest that the Nothing Phone 2a will be well-equipped to capture high-quality photos and videos.

Running on Nothing OS 2.5, which is based on Android 14, the Nothing Phone 2a promises a user-friendly and feature-rich software experience. The phone is also expected to support up to 45W fast charging, although it remains to be seen whether a 45W charger will be included in the box.
