MWC 2022: Samsung launches Galaxy Book 2 line of laptops - check price and specs

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book 2 line of laptops at its MWC 2022 event. The lineup of lightweight business-focused laptops comprises the Galaxy Book 2, Galaxy Book 2 Business, Galaxy Book 2 Pro, Galaxy Book 2 360, and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 models.

The laptops will on Windows 11 out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 series price

In the US, the Galaxy Book 2 360 has been priced at $899, or around ₹67,600, while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro starts at $1,049, or around ₹78,800. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 will cost $1,249, or around ₹93,900. The prices for the Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Book 2 Business have not yet been announced.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro specs

Samsung’s Galaxy Book 2 Pro runs on Windows 11, and comes in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display options. The laptop is powered by 12th-gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors based on the EVO platform along with Iris X graphics. The bigger model includes an option for an Intel Arc dedicated GPU.

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to a 1TB NVMe SSD. The 13.3-inch model gets a 63Wh battery, while the 15.6-inch model gets a 68Wh battery. Both laptops support 65W fast charging.

Both also sport a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. For connectivity there’s a Thunderbolt 4 port on both, along with USB Type-C, USB 3.2, and HDMI ports.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 specs

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 shares much of the same internals as the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, but the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch displays support 360 degrees of rotation, and are now AMOLED touchscreen panels.

Other specifications remain the same, including up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage, and 12th-gen Intel EVO Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
