There’s a new smartwatch out there and it is not for tech or fitness enthusiasts. Meet the Montblanc Summit 3, a €1,250 Wear OS 3 smartwatch that’s probably made for those who already have an extensive collection of luxurious timepieces.
Montblanc’s smartwatch, like its other products, emphasises on luxury. It is based on a 42mm titanium case that’s available in black, grey, or dual colour options. You can opt for rubber or leather bands, but stainless steel or ceramic bracelets are not on offer yet.
It is powered by the latest Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset. There’s a rotating crown and two additional buttons through which users can operate the Wear OS 3-based UI.

The Summit 3 also incorporates blood oxygen monitoring and sleep tracking capabilities, including tracking the different phases of sleep.
The new model is also claimed to offer a longer battery life than its predecessor, but the company has not revealed the exact number.
Montblanc is shipping this watch in "sustainable paper packaging." The company also says that the watch comes with "a wide range of support tools to maximise the full lifecycle experience".
This new luxury smartwatch will be available to buy from July 15 though Montblanc’s official website
The Summit 3 is one of the few Wear OS 3 smartwatches which are on sale for the time being. The most popular mass-market option is Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Google’s soon to be launched Pixel Watch will also run the latest Wear OS software.
