Vivo is expected to launch its X100 flagship series, consisting of the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro Plus, by the end of this year.
Though Vivo has not revealed the specific launch date, intriguing details about the charging capabilities, IP rating, and other features have been shared by reliable sources.
According to insider information from Digital Chat Station, both the Vivo X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ will offer a cutting-edge 50W wireless charging feature. However, the standard Vivo X100 will not support this technology.
Notably, the earlier Vivo X90 series had already launched in India with 50W wireless charging support, building upon the brand's commitment to powerful, fast charging capabilities.
The upcoming Vivo X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ will come equipped with an impressive IP68 rating, ensuring excellent protection against water and dust.
Recent reports suggest that the Vivo X100 Pro will boast an OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.
Its rear camera module is expected to house a triple camera setup, potentially featuring a groundbreaking 1-inch primary camera, possibly offering a 50MP sensor.
Additionally, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens and a 12MP IMX663 ultra-wide-angle lens are speculated to be part of the camera array.
Under the hood, both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to house the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Expect a superior audio experience with the inclusion of dual stereo speakers in the Vivo X100 series. Furthermore, users can benefit from the convenience of an Infrared (IR) blaster and an X-axis linear motor.
It is worth noting that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models are expected to launch in November, while the Vivo X100 Pro+ might see its release in early 2024.
Additionally, Digital Chat Station hinted at an upcoming joint launch event of the Vivo X100 series and the Vivo X Fold 3, following the announcement of the OriginOS 4.0 operating system.
