Vivo’s first foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold, is all set to launch on April 11. Renders of the device have leaked prior to the launch, which show off the phone’s design and colour options. Specifications of the Vivo X Fold have also been leaked in a previous report.
According to a report by tipster Ishan Agarwal in collaboration with MySmartPrice, the Vivo X Fold will be available in Blue and Grey colour options. The Vivo X Fold will be a horizontal folding smartphone similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. The folding mechanism will be helped by an aerospace-grade wing hinge.

The Vivo X Fold will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, along with 12GB RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The outer 6.53-inch display will have a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a centred hole punch cutout for a selfie camera. The inner, folding display will have an 8.03-inch screen with a 2K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO 3 technology.
For optics, the Vivo X Fold will offer a quad rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP telephoto lens with 2X zoom, a 5MP telephoto lens with 5X zoom.
Keeping the lights on will be a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging support.
