Following earlier teasers, Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of the V30e smartphone in India. The launch is scheduled for May 2, 2024.

Design and Display

Vivo has revealed several key design elements for the V30e. The phone will sport a "Gem Cut Design," available in Velvet Red and Silk Blue colour options.

It will feature a 3D Curved Display with an "Aura Light" notification system and "Smart Color Temperature Adjustment."

Camera System

The camera setup of the V30e includes a 50MP main sensor (rumoured to be the Sony IMX882) and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera boasts a 50MP resolution with eye autofocus.

Additionally, the phone will offer a "2X Portrait with Wedding Style Portrait'' option, a feature previously seen on the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro models.

Battery and Performance

Vivo claims the V30e will be the slimmest smartphone in India to offer a 5500mAh battery, measuring only 7.69mm in thickness.

Based on rumours, the phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

Additional Features

Rumours suggest the V30e might feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Android 14 as the operating system, 44W fast charging capabilities, and IP64 dust and water resistance rating.

Availability

The vivo V30e will be available for purchase on Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and offline stores across the country. The official pricing details are yet to be announced.
