Vivo V29e India launch date revealed: Check expected specifications, price in India

Vivo is set to launch the first smartphone in its V29 series, the V29e, very soon in India.

Vivo is all set to make its mark in the Indian smartphone market with the imminent launch of the Vivo V29e on August 28, 2023. 

Slim design and curved display

The Vivo V29e showcases an appealing slim design with a curved display, reminiscent of the popular Motorola Edge 40. The smartphone is said to measure 7.57mm in thickness, slightly thicker than its counterpart at 7.49mm. 

This sleek design is expected to enhance user experience and visual appeal.

Camera specifications

Vivo is setting high standards in smartphone photography, equipping the V29e with an exceptional camera setup. The device is said to boast a 64-megapixel primary lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) for improved stability and sharper images.

Additionally, a second camera, likely a macro lens, is present on the back as well

Vivo is introducing innovative features in the V29e to enhance user experience and make the device stand out. The selfie camera supports "Eye Auto Focus," providing users with improved focus accuracy and reliability. 

Unique colour options

The Vivo V29e offers two distinct colour options, including the eye-catching V29e Artistic Red edition. This edition utilises "colour-changing glass," a technology that allows the phone to change its shade to black when exposed to UV lights.

This dynamic feature adds a touch of uniqueness and elegance to the device, reminiscent of previous Vivo models such as the V25.

Vivo V29e expected specifications and price in India

Leaked information suggests that the Vivo V29e might feature a 6.73-inch display, a robust 4,600mAh battery, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. 

Positioned in the mid-premium segment, the smartphone is expected to be competitively priced, potentially costing under ₹25,000. 

Challenging Rivals

Vivo is not the only smartphone manufacturer entering the mid-premium market in India. Honor, under its new division called Honor Tech, is making a comeback with its Honor 90 smartphone. 

Additionally, iQoo is gearing up to launch the iQoo Z7 Pro, which bears similarities to the Vivo V29e based on the official poster.
