Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, is setting the stage for the global release of its Vivo V29 series, which includes the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro.
These highly-anticipated smartphones are expected to make a splash in the global and Indian markets.
As we edge closer to the launch, the standard Vivo V29 5G model has made its appearance on the US’ Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website, revealing key specifications. Here's what we know so far.
The FCC certification is an important milestone indicating that a device complies with FCC standards. A device bearing the model number V2250, believed to be the Vivo V29, has been granted this certification.
Although the certification doesn't guarantee the product's safety or durability, it does signify adherence to the standards for ionizing radiation levels.
According to the details on the FCC listing, the Vivo V29 5G is set to feature advanced connectivity options including 5G, LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC.
Additionally, the device is expected to be powered by a formidable 4,505mAh battery.
Further insights come from the Vivo V29's NBTC listing, which suggests the device will boast 5G connectivity and a lightning-fast 80W wired charging technology.
The device is also expected to support various 5G bands, and the beating heart of the device will be the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, as indicated by the Geekbench listing.
Alongside the upcoming Vivo V29, the company has also introduced the Vivo V29 Lite 5G.
This model features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a high 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging technology, and the Android 13 operating system.
The Lite model comes in Summer Gold and Dark Black, with a price tag of approximately Rs 31,900 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.
While details about the Vivo V29 Pro are still scarce, the upcoming launch promises to deliver a plethora of tech upgrades and exciting features. Watch this space for more updates.
