In a remarkable achievement, Samsung secured more than 100,000 pre-bookings for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in India within the first 28 hours. This figure represents a 1.7x increase in pre-bookings compared to the previous generation, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. The pre-bookings began on July 27, 2023, and the devices will be available for sale starting August 18, 2023.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 offers a unique and stylish foldable experience, with an outer screen that is 3.78 times larger than its predecessors. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is designed as a productivity powerhouse with a large screen, boasting the thinnest and lightest design in the Galaxy Z series.
Both the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold5 come with IPX8 support and are constructed with aircraft-grade Armor Aluminum frames. They also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Flex Window and back cover, along with a new integrated hinge module with a dual rail structure to absorb external impacts.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is priced at INR 99999 (8/256 GB), while the Galaxy Z Fold 5 starts at INR 154999 (12/256 GB). Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will receive benefits worth INR 20000, and those pre-booking the Galaxy Z Fold5 will receive benefits worth INR 23000.
