Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: Samsung has launched an updated version of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone in India with a two-year-old Snapdragon 888 5G processor.
Interestingly, the Exynos variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which originally launched with an Exynos 2100 processor, seems to have been discontinued.
Offline stores are no longer stocking the variant, and the official website has removed it from sale.
However, the Exynos variant can still be found on Amazon and Flipkart, though it's unclear if these are remaining stocks or new supplies.
The Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon version 5G is priced at ₹49,999. It is available in Navy, Olive, Graphite, Lavender, and White colours.
The phone can be purchased from Samsung's online store, and customers can avail a ₹5,000 instant discount with an HDFC EMI or Credit Card.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset and comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back, including a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. The phone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It runs on Samsung's One UI software.
It's worth noting that the phone comes with only a USB-C cable in the box and no charging adapter.
The Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 888 chipset competes directly with the newly launched OPPO Reno 10 series.
Samsung is also expected to release the Galaxy S23 FE model later this year, with various upgrades. However, the company has opted to skip launching an "FE" version of its Galaxy S22 series.
