Samsung has the launch of the Samsung Eco-Friends collection, a comprehensive lineup of eco-friendly accessories designed for its popular Galaxy devices.
The collection includes an impressive range of 55 cases and straps that are compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Watch 6 duo, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Notably, these accessories have been developed in collaboration with renowned artists and brands, incorporating diverse art styles.
Samsung's commitment to sustainability is evident in the design and materials used for these accessories. Each product in the Samsung Eco-Friends collection is crafted from recycled plastics, containing more than 40% PCM (Post Consumer Material).
Additionally, the collection features vegan leather, derived from PVC rather than plants. By utilising recycled materials and vegan alternatives, Samsung aims to reduce its environmental footprint while offering stylish and functional accessories to Galaxy users.
In an effort to infuse creativity and appeal into the collection, Samsung has partnered with a wide range of artists and brands.
This collaboration includes renowned names such as Toiletpaper, Keith Haring, The Smiley Company, Pokemon, Minions, and even K-Pop-related art styles like BTS.
By incorporating the creative touch of these collaborators, Samsung has ensured that the Eco-Friends collection offers a diverse range of designs to cater to various user preferences.
Samsung acknowledges the importance of promoting its new accessory series effectively. To achieve this, the company has introduced the SMAPP (Samsung Mobile Accessories Partnership Program), which places its 20-something employees at the forefront of promoting the collection.
This approach not only empowers young employees but also allows them to connect with the target audience, providing genuine insights and recommendations based on their personal experiences with the products.
Starting today, Samsung is partnering with Slash B Slash (SLBS) online store to launch the Eco-Friends collection in South Korea. The accessories will also be available in physical stores across Seoul, the capital city.
Following the South Korean launch, Samsung plans to expand distribution to 40 additional markets worldwide, ensuring customers around the globe have access to these eco-friendly accessories.
This move demonstrates Samsung's commitment to making sustainable products accessible and available globally.
