The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are expected to make their debut in India during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale 2023.
Serving as Fan Edition models of the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup that was unveiled earlier this year, these tablets are anticipated to offer a host of impressive features.
Leaks and reports have shed light on the design, potential pricing and specifications of these upcoming devices.
According to a report by reputable tipster Roland Quandt, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is likely to start at EUR 529 (approximately ₹46,400) in Europe, while the Tab S9 FE+ could be priced at EUR 699 (approximately ₹61,300).
Additionally, the 5G variants may come with a price premium of approximately EUR 100 (roughly ₹8,800).
The price in India of these tablets is not yet known.
Sources suggest that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will boast a 10.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440 pixels, while the Tab S9 FE+ may feature a larger 12.4-inch LCD panel offering a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
Both tablets are rumoured to be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 1380 system-on-a-chip (SoC).
Reports indicate that the base Galaxy Tab S9 FE will come in two storage variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is expected to offer customers the choice between 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage or 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. Additionally, both models are likely to support expandable storage via microSD cards.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are anticipated to ship with the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1 operating system.
These tablets are also expected to support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity. Furthermore, leaks point towards the possibility of both devices receiving an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Notably, the FE+ variant may also offer compatibility with the S Pen stylus.
Sources suggest that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will both feature 12-megapixel front-facing cameras.
However, the base model is expected to sport an 8MP rear camera, while the Plus variant may include an additional 8MP ultra-wide camera.
In terms of battery capacity, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is rumoured to house an 8,000mAh battery, while the FE+ variant could pack an impressive 10,090mAh battery.
