The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is now getting the One UI 6 update. The update is currently rolling out to the Exynos variant of the phone, but the Snapdragon version should get it soon as well.
Users should get an OTA update notification on their phones soon. Now the entire Galaxy S23 series runs on Android 14, as the other three models got the One UI 6 update last month.
Samsung One UI 6 Features
- Quick panel has a new layout with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth buttons at the top, customisable quick settings in the middle, and visual features at the bottom.
- Instant access to the expanded quick panel by swiping from the right, and brightness control appearing in the compact quick panel for easier adjustments.
- Enhanced album art display while playing music or videos, and notifications now appear as separate cards for easier recognition.
- Improved icon labels, ability to drag and drop with two hands on the home screen, and pop-up windows in multitasking remain open after leaving the Recents screen.
- Camera improvements include a simplified layout, customisable widgets, easier document scanning, and options for picture and video quality optimisation.
- Updates to Gallery, Photo Editor, Studio (Video Editor), Video Player, Weather, Samsung Health, Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet for enhanced user experience and functionality.
