Realme, a popular smartphone brand, has recently unveiled its latest flagship device, the Realme GT 5, in China.
This highly anticipated smartphone comes as a successor to the Realme GT 3 and boasts impressive specifications and a sleek design.
Notably, the Realme GT 5 is only the third smartphone in the world to offer a massive 24GB RAM, following the Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro+ and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
The Realme GT 5 is available in two variants, with different storage capacities and charging capabilities. The base model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, is priced at RMB 2999 (approximately Rs 34,500).
The higher-end variant, equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, comes with a price tag of RMB 3,299 (approximately Rs 37,400).
For those seeking even more power, Realme offers a 24GB RAM model with 1TB of storage and 240W fast charging support, priced at RMB 3,799 (around Rs 43,600).
The phone will be available for purchase in China starting from September 4, 2023.
One of the standout features of the Realme GT 5 is its eye-catching design. The device showcases a "Flowing Silver Mirror" design, boasting a liquid metal silver texture.
Inside the transparent glass back, users will also find a 'Snapdragon' square logo, adding to the phone's elegance. Another design element is the transparent RGB design with 4 halo light strips, called "Halo Pro," which supports ten different contact and application notification light effects.
Realme offers two beautiful color options for the GT 5: Flowing Silver Illusion Mirror (silver) and Starry Oasis (green).
The Realme GT 5 comes with an impressive set of specifications. It features a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED PRO-XDR display with a high 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels.
The display also offers a 93.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 450ppi, and up to 1400nits peak brightness. The device is powered by the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with an Adreno GPU for enhanced graphics performance.
In terms of storage, the Realme GT 5 offers up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
For photography enthusiasts, the Realme GT 5 houses a triple-camera setup on the rear. It features a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter for close-up photography.
On the front, users will find a 16MP shooter for high-quality selfies and video chatting.
In terms of battery life, Realme offers two models of the GT 5. The first model comes with a 4,600mAh battery, capable of 240W fast charging.
The second model features a larger 5,240mAh battery, supporting 150W fast charging. With these fast charging capabilities, users can quickly recharge their devices and minimize downtime.
The Realme GT 5 is equipped with a range of additional features to enhance user experience.
These include an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking, NFC for seamless mobile payments, Hi-Res audio for an immersive audio experience, and Dolby Atmos for enhanced sound quality.
The device also incorporates the Whirlwind Memory Engine 2.0, which optimizes memory usage, allowing up to 76 apps to run smoothly in the background without affecting overall performance.
