If you’ve got Windows 11, turn off these settings right now to improve privacy on your laptop.

First, head over to Settings → Privacy & Security → General. Turn off those options, and boom – no more unnecessary ads or recommendations!

Second, In privacy & security, go to Diagnostics & Feedback, and turn off “Send optional diagnostic data” With this, Windows will not collect your data in the background.

Third, while you're still in Diagnostics & Feedback, hit Tailored Experiences, turn it off, and delete diagnostic data from here. With this, it won't track the apps or websites you've used.

Fourth, In privacy & security, go to Activity History, turn it off and clear it. Windows has been tracking what you do – now it won’t.

Lastly, now scroll down to privacy & security and check the app permissions. Turn off permissions for apps that don't need location, camera or microphone.

To safeguard your privacy on Windows 11, it's crucial to fine-tune your system settings. By disabling specific features like ad targeting, diagnostic data sharing, and app permissions for location, camera, and microphone, you can significantly enhance your laptop's security.

Taking these steps ensures that your personal information remains private and minimizes exposure to unnecessary data collection and advertisements.
