Apple will launch its iPhone 16 series at a much-anticipated September event in 2024.

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro promises incremental but noteworthy updates, including the addition of a new "Capture Button" with capacitive touch functionality.

This button, as revealed by CAD renders obtained by 91mobiles, is expected to facilitate adjustments for focus and zoom, in addition to serving as a trigger for photo and video capture.

Familiar Yet Enhanced Design Language

In line with its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 16 Pro series maintains a design language that includes a Titanium frame, thinner bezels, and rounded corners.

This continuity ensures that users will have a sense of familiarity with the device while still enjoying the benefits of the new series' enhanced features and functionalities.

Dimensional Changes and Display Panel

Notable changes include an increase in dimensions, with the iPhone 16 Pro measuring 149.6×71.4×8.4mm, marking a slight increase in height, width, and thickness compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.

Furthermore, the upcoming device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display panel, distinguishing it from its predecessor.

However, there is some uncertainty regarding the exact dimensions of the iPhone 16 Pro, as conflicting reports based on previous leaks and design changes have surfaced.

While initial reports suggested a 6.1-inch display, the likelihood of a 6.3-inch panel has now been brought into question.
