It is quite likely that recently, either you or someone you know has received a WhatsApp call starting with one of these country codes.

Cutting to the chase, it is an ongoing scam, please do not receive these calls.

The scammers behind these calls will often pose as HRs from global companies, government officials, or bank employees.

A well-paying part-time job is the most common lie they’ll try to trap you with.

If you fall for their tricks, these scammers will either send you messages with links to phishing websites, or try to trick you into revealing personal information or sending money.

To keep yourself safe, do not receive a call from an unknown international number. If you receive a message with a link, don't click on the link. Lastly, if a random contact offers you a job opportunity, do your research to make sure it is legitimate.
