Call Annie turns ChatGPT into a talking AI avatar

A new app called "Call Annie" turns ChatGPT into a talking female avatar.

It is currently exclusive to iOS 16, and requires at least an iPhone 12 or later model to start a video call with "Annie".

The developers of the app claim that talking to "Annie" "face-to-face in real time feels more natural and faster than typing and reading text."

Call Annie can help users with everything from learning to web searches to serving as a virtual companion.
