ASUS has expanded its Vivobook portfolio in India with a fresh lineup of everyday laptops that lean heavily on design, AI-focused performance and long battery-life claims. The new range, launched under the company’s “Your Vibe. Your Colour.” campaign, includes the Vivobook S14, Vivobook S16, Vivobook 14 Flip, Vivobook S14 Flip and Vivobook 16.
The portfolio covers conventional clamshell laptops as well as 360-degree convertibles, with Intel, AMD and Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered options. ASUS is clearly targeting students, young professionals and users who want one machine for work, streaming and day-to-day creative tasks.
The Intel-powered ASUS Vivobook S14 (S5452MA) and Vivobook S16 (S5652MA) sit towards the premium end of the new range. Both feature lightweight all-metal builds, MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability and up to Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors with a claimed 17 TOPS of AI performance.
ASUS claims the S14 can deliver over 20 hours of battery life, while the larger S16 is rated for more than 15 hours. Both get 16:10 FHD+ IPS displays with 100 per cent sRGB colour coverage, USB Type-C ports and HDMI 2.1 connectivity.
The company is also preparing Snapdragon X-powered versions of the Vivobook S14 and S16. These models are equipped with a 45 TOPS NPU and are claimed to offer up to 30 hours of battery life. The S16 gets an FHD+ OLED panel, while the S14 comes with a taller 16:10 FHD+ IPS display.
For users who prefer a more flexible setup, ASUS has introduced the Vivobook 14 Flip (TP3407AA) and Vivobook S14 Flip (TP5408QA). Both feature a 360-degree all-metal hinge, an FHD+ ASUS OLED touchscreen and stylus support, allowing them to be used as regular laptops, tablets or in tent mode for streaming.
The Vivobook 14 Flip is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 355 processor with a 49 TOPS NPU. ASUS claims up to 38 hours of battery life, while the laptop also gets Thunderbolt 4, a microSD card reader, an AI camera, a webcam shield and TPM 2.0 security.
The Snapdragon X-powered Vivobook S14 Flip, meanwhile, offers a 45 TOPS NPU and up to 30 hours of claimed battery life. It gets an AI FHD IR camera, TPM 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and HDMI 2.1.
The Vivobook 16 (X1652XA) is the more straightforward large-screen option in the lineup. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and ASUS’s claimed 10 TOPS AI capability for everyday AI-powered features and multitasking.
It features a 16-inch FHD+ 16:10 IPS display with an 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio, giving users more room for documents, browser windows and entertainment. The laptop also includes an FHD AI camera with facial-recognition and privacy features.
Like the rest of the range, it comes with Microsoft Office Home 2024 and a year of Microsoft 365 Basic with 100GB cloud storage.
The Intel-powered Vivobook S14 and S16 start at ₹1,18,990. The Vivobook 14 Flip starts at ₹1,79,990, while the Snapdragon-powered Vivobook S14 Flip starts at ₹1,09,990. The Vivobook 16 starts at ₹89,990.
These models will be available from September 17 through ASUS Exclusive Stores, the ASUS e-shop, authorised retailers, leading retail partners and e-commerce platforms. The Snapdragon-powered Vivobook S14 and S16 will arrive by the end of October, with their pricing set to be announced closer to availability.
ASUS is also offering a launch bundle comprising two years of extended warranty and three years of accidental damage protection, worth ₹5,599, for ₹99 for a limited period. The new Wireless Silent Mouse MW103, available in Green, Pink and Blue, starts at ₹649.
