Apple's highly-anticipated mixed reality headset may not be announced until Q3 2023, according to a tweet from renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The delay is reportedly due to poor market feedback and concerns over the high cost of the device, which is estimated to be around $3,000.

Also, due to the delay in mass production for assembly, only 200,000 to 300,000 units are expected to be shipped this year. This is less than the market consensus of 500,000 units or more.
