The teacher behind the now-famous Bernie mittens, that the Democratic Senator wore to the US Presidential Inauguration, has partnered with a teddy bear maker to meet growing demand.

Jen Ellis, the schoolteacher who created the recycled woolen mittens is partnering with Vermont Teddy Bear Company for a new mitten line and a part of the proceeds will go to 'Make-A-Wish Vermont'.

They will create the 'Bernie mitten' design in many patterns however it is unclear when the first mittens would be available. Bernie Sanders' mittens and memes have helped raise atleast $1.8 million for charitable organisations in Vermont.
