Tata bulks up startup purchasing, looking to buy CultFit

After warming up with BigBasket Tata Group seemed to be bulking up their startup purchases now eyeing health and fitness startup Curefit.

ET reports as per sources Tata Group is in talks with Myntra co-founder and owner of Curefit Mukesh Bansal to acquire the fitness startup. Bansal as per unnamed sources may also be offered a leadership position in Tata’s digital business.

With backing from Temasek, Accel, Kalaari Capital Curefit, was recently rebranded to Cult.Fit was last valued at around $800 million.
