T20 World Cup: After leaving most cricket experts in shock by not picking Yuzvendra Chahal in Team India's squad for the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli has finally cleared the air as to why he was left out.

The Indian skipper admitted that it was a difficult and a challenging call but clarified that Rahul Chahar was preferred as he bowls with pace. "The wickets in UAE will be slow and the guys who bowl with some pace, attack the stumps and that is the factor that tipped the balance in favour of Rahul," Kohli added.

Virat Kohli also stated that Ashwin has been rewarded for reviving his white-ball bowling and he is bowling with a lot of courage.
