Emotions will run high when England take the field vs New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2021 semi-final in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. It will be a repeat of the 2019 ODI World Cup final, which is remembered for more than one reason apart from the 3 Lions winning it.
England come into the World T20 with the tag of being the pre-tournament favourites but their loss against South Africa in the last group game proved that they do have a chink in their armour. Moreover, star opener Jason Roy being ruled out has made matters worse for England.
New Zealand on the other hand may not have one big player to rely on but they hunt as a pack. Maybe that's the reason the Kiwis have reached the semis or beyond in the last 5 ICC tournaments.
Abu Dhabi has by far been the best batting surface among the 3 venues in this World T20, so one can expect a high scoring game.
