T20 World Cup 2021: injured Devon Conway prepares substitute Tim Seifert for the final clash

Devon Conway who has been ruled out of the World T20 finals and the following India series with a self-inflicted right-hand injury was seen at the ground, helping his teammates practice ahead of the big match against Australia.

Conway who assisted New Zealand in their crucial England win with a 46 off 38 hurt himself when he punched his bat after the dismissal. During the practice session, the Kiwi keeper-batter was seen preparing his substitute Tim Seifert for the summit clash.   

Skipper Kane Williamson confirmed that keeper Tim Seifert will take Conway's place in the line-up against their neighbours as his team eyes their first-ever T20 title. New Zealand Cricket also announced that Daryl Mitchell will replace Conway in the following India series which is set to begin on November 17th.
