Steel firms step up to provide oxygen: Dharmendra Pradhan

Steel plants from across the nation have stepped up to supply oxygen in the covid crisis said  Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Steel plants have already supplied 1.43 lakh metric tons of medical oxygen to different states till now. 

SAIL has supplied more than 33,300 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen whereas Tata Steel is supplying 200-300 tonnes of medical oxygen on a daily basis to various govt hospitals .

Sajjan Jindal backed JSW Steel is supplying 185 tonnes of oxygen from its Dolvi plant in Maharashtra and is planning to ramp-up production and supply 600 tonnes of oxygen per day from its three plants.
