Star English player Ben Stokes and teammates arrive in Brisbane ahead of Ashes 2021

The England team arrived in Brisbane on Tuesday for the highly anticipated Ashes series which are set to start on 8th December. The English team directly flew from UAE, after losing the T20 World Cup semifinals to New Zealand last week.

England will undergo a 14-day quarantine after which first play 3 warm-up matches against the freshly crowned World T20 winners, Australia before travelling to The Gabba which will be the venue for the 5-match Test series.

Star all-rounder Ben Stokes who was added last month to the squad after recovering from his finger injury and finishing his break from cricket also arrived along with other members of the Team. 

Meanwhile, the first time T20 World Cup winners received a palling welcome as they landed at home early Tuesday morning ahead of the upcoming Ashes. Australia defeated New Zealand by 8 wickets to clinch their maiden T20 Cup on Sunday.
