Mumbai, September 1 (PTI): The seventh installment of the Tennis Premier League is set to take place in Ahmedabad, specifically at the Gujarat University Stadium, from December 9 to 14.

This year's lineup features eight teams and promises thrilling action, with participants including internationally ranked players holding ATP rankings between 30 and 50. Notably, Indian tennis star and two-time Grand Slam champion, Rohan Bopanna, will also be part of the competition.

This marks the first time the tournament will occur outside of its traditional home in Maharashtra.

According to a league statement, “Over the past year, the Tennis Premier League has cemented strong ties with the Gujarat State Tennis Association. By hosting tournaments across various age categories and supporting young talent through the Race to Gold Scholarships, we have significantly boosted grassroots tennis in the region.”
