Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam encountered ex-Indian cricketing legend Sunil Gavaskar upon his arrival in the United States of America (USA) on Saturday, just before the T20 World Cup 2024.
Upon arrival in Dallas, Babar was seen engaging in a conversation with the Indian icon. The pair was seen exchanging handshakes before engaging in a brief discussion. Babar Azam was delighted to come across Sunil Gavaskar, who has frequently praised the Pakistan batting sensation.
After a 2-1 win over Ireland, England were handed a 2-0 defeat by England. With Pakistan playing no warm-up matches in USA, the team reached the T20 World Cup venue just before the start of the tournament.
