A day before the start of the T20 World Cup, a question from a journalist led to an awkward moment for eight captains due to the tricky nature of his query.

A journalist asked the captains to indicate with a show of hands whether they would be comfortable if one of their bowlers runs out a non-striker during the tournament. An awkward silence followed and none of the 8 captains moved their hands.

Despite 'mankading' now officially under the ambit of run-outs, it remains a contentious topic among fans and experts in the cricket fraternity.
