Wrestlers protest: Delhi police not to allow grapplers to protest at India Gate

Protesting wrestlers may have stated that they will continue their protest at India Gate after their set up was removed from Jantar Mantar but the Delhi police won't allow them to do so.

'India Gate is not a protest site and we will not allow them to protest there,' news agency PTI reported quoting a police source.

For any other protest site, the wrestlers will have to seek permission, said Delhi's Deputy Commissioner of Police Suman Nalwa.

Top Indian wrestlers including, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia went to Haridwar to immerse their medals on Tuesday evening but they were stopped from doing so.
