Liam Broady delivered a career-defining performance as he triumphed over world number four Casper Ruud in a thrilling five-set match, securing his place in the third round of Wimbledon 2023.

In a display of trademark tenacity, Broady showed remarkable resilience to bounce back from being two sets to one down. Energised by the electric atmosphere on Centre Court, he sealed a sensational 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 victory in an intense battle lasting three hours and 27 minutes.
