Before his Wimbledon semifinal match on Friday, 22-time grand slam champion Rafael Nadal will get scans done on the abdominal injury that nearly prompted him to abandon his quarter-final match.
After winning his last-eight clash against America's Taylor Fritz, Nadal said he ignored calls from his family to quit the match when he was struggling with his movement.
He added that the pain in the abdominal area increased significantly during the second set and he will undergo some tests before his semi-final game.
