Halle Open turned a little ugly for Daniil Medvedev and his coach Gilles Cervara, as the world number 1 lost his cool after Hubert Hurkacz dominated the Russian and later beat him 1-6, 4-6.
Medvedev yelled at his coach and as a result, Cervara abruptly walked out of the court as he was clearly irked by the outburst. The footage has now gone viral on social media.
What frustrated the Russian tennis star was the fact that he has seen a number of defeats in the final lately. Medvedev went down to Novak Djokovic in Paris Masters final, Alexander Zverev in ATP World Tour Finals and Rafael Nadal in the Australia Open final.
